TO INSTALL THIS PROGRAM:
When you choose Install below, an installation program will run, allowing you to specify where you want to place files. The installation process takes about 10 minutes and requires 4MB of free disk space. During the installation, you will be asked if you want to copy the signup files. If you are not currently a ZiffNet or CompuServe member, you must copy these files in order to join. At the end of the installation process, you will be asked if you want to sign up a new account.
It creates an icon group for your Windows Program Manager. You can then launch WinCIM for ZiffNet from Program Manager at any time.
To return to SuperPac CD, on completing installation, close the Installation dialog box and click back into the SuperPac CD window.
TO SIGN UP A NEW ACCOUNT:
If you do not sign up a new account immediately after the install process, you may click on the Signup Icon in the CompuServe Program group. Once the sign-up program is running, choose Sign up under the Signup menu choice. You will then be prompted for an agreement and serial number. The agreement number is CLMP595 and the serial number should remain 0 (zero). Have a credit card ready.
WinCIM 1.4 for ZiffNet Requirements:
* An IBM or compatible personal computer.
* An 80386SX processor (or better) and at least 2MB of RAM.
* Microsoft Windows, Version 3.0 or later (Version 3.1 or later is recommended)
* An IBM EGA (or high-resolution) monitor compatible with the Microsoft Windows graphical environment.
* A hard disk with 4MB free and Windows installed, and one high-density floppy disk drive.
* A mouse or other pointing device compatible with Microsoft Windows.
